WorldBridge Group Hosts Women’s Business Council Philippines to Explore Cambodia-Philippines Business Opportunities

Phnom Penh, Cambodia – January 23, 2025 – WorldBridge Group welcomed the Women’s
Business Council Philippines for an introductory meeting aimed at exploring potential
business collaborations and investment opportunities between the Cambodia based
group and the Philippines.

The meeting, coordinated by the Embassy of the Philippines in Cambodia, was held on
January 22 at Sombok Restaurant in Phnom Penh. Senior executives and representatives
from Women’s Business Council Philippines (“WomenBizPH”) took the opportunity to ask
questions about various sectors such as logistics, real estate, manufacturing, information
technology, outsourcing, tourism, retail, and education. The discussions focused on
fostering economic ties, knowledge sharing, and creating a mutually beneficial business
environment.

Mrs Rosemarie Rafael, Chairperson of the Women’s Business Council Philippines,
expressed optimism about the potential for collaboration and highlighted the importance
of strengthening connections between Cambodian and Filipino enterprises. “This meeting
serves as a valuable starting point to explore synergies and leverage collective strengths to
drive business growth and empower women entrepreneurs in both markets,” she stated.

WorldBridge Group representatives provided an overview of Cambodia’s business
landscape, highlighting the country’s strategic advantages and investment potential. The
discussion emphasized the importance of fostering inclusive economic growth and
identifying opportunities for future cooperation.

Both parties expressed their commitment to further engagement through future business
exchanges and collaborative projects aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and investment.
