“Data Subject” – refers to an individual whose personal, sensitive personal or privileged information is processed by the organization. It may refer to officers, employees, consultants, and clients of this organization.

“Personal Information” – refers to any information whether recorded in a material form or not, from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual.

“Processing” refers to any operation or any set of operations performed upon personal information including, but not limited to, the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure, or destruction of data.

AIRSPEED collects, uses and/or process personal information thru physical, manual, electronic or automated means. At all times, the personal information of clients and employees shall not be used and/or processed for any purpose that is contrary to law, morals, and public policy.

AIRSPEED process personal information to pursue legitimate interest to run, maintain and develop its business. Furthermore, said personal information is also processed to carry out legal obligations arising from contracts with its clients and in compliance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and such other laws, rules and regulations as may be applicable.

AIRSPEED may collect personal information in the following instances:

• When the Data Subject gives personal information upon availing AIRSPEED services;
• When the Data Subject contacts AIRSPEED’s customer support;
• When executing contracts and other transactions related to AIRSPEED’s business;
• During recruitment and job application process; and
• During Marketing and other promotional activities

The personal data that Airspeed may collect includes the following:

• Country code
• Zip Code
• Company Name
• Contact Number
• Email Address
• Government ID Number
• Birthday
• Age
• Marital Status

AIRSPEED’s “processing” of personal information is the same as provided in the Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Data Privacy Act of 2012, to wit; any operation or any set of operations performed upon personal data including, but not limited to, the collection, recording, organization, storage, updating or modification, retrieval, consultation, use, consolidation, blocking, erasure, or destruction of data.

It is the responsibility of the data subject to ensure that all personal information submitted to AIRSPEED is true, accurate, complete and updated.

AIRSPEED shall use the collected personal information for the following purposes:

• To document and process the service/s availed by the client;
• To provide timely, reliable and value-added services to clients such as international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, e-commerce delivery, door to door delivery, account management, information management, billing and customer support;
• To communicate better with the client and thus establish a good customer relationship;
• To aid in evaluating job applicants and when hired to process your data necessary for employment, not limited to; engagement of payroll processing and other purposes such as training & performance evaluation;
• To meet the requirements by the law and for the furtherance of other legitimate business purposes.

Other Uses Based on Nature

• For booking and Pickup for delivery;
• To be able to deliver the shipment to the recipient;
• To notify, update delivery status, promotional advertisement, and marketing;
• To assist and respond inquiries and complaints.

AIRSPEED shall store personal information only for the period allowed under the Data Privacy Act and other applicable laws. AIRSPEED shall immediately destroy in a secure manner any personal information in its possession upon lapse of the storage period allowed by the law or when we have reasonably determined that:

• the purpose for which that personal data was collected is no longer being served by the retention of such personal data;
• retention is no longer necessary for any legal or business purposes; and
• no other legitimate interests warrant further retention of such personal data

AIRSPEED stores personal information in paper and electronic formats. The security of said personal data is established thru the following:

• Data privacy training of involved employees;
• Personal information storage security policies;
• Limitations on access to personal data;
• Security measures to control access to our systems and premises; and
• Electronic security systems, such as firewalls and data encryption of our website.

AIRSPEED’s clients and employees are afforded rights in relation to their respective personal information under the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including the right to access, correction, and objection to the processing, including the right to lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission.

AIRSPEED only share personal information within its organization if and as far as necessary for the purposes specified in this Privacy Notice. AIRSPEED staff members processing personal information are bound to confidentiality.

AIRSPEED does not share personal information with any third party outside of its organization unless (a) necessary for the purposes specified hereunto, (b) as required by law, upon order of the court or request of other government agencies and (c) upon consent duly given by the person concerned.

Personal information will not be disclosed without the data subjects’ express or implied consent unless required by law, or if needed to be accessed as part of an investigation of a law enforcement agency. In some cases, we will/may need to use, process, disclose and/or transfer your personal data to our third-party service providers, agents and/or related corporations, and/or other third parties. Such third-party service providers, agents and/or related corporations and/or other third parties would be processing your personal data either on our behalf or otherwise, for one or more of the above-stated Purposes. We endeavor to ensure that the third parties and our affiliates keep your personal data secure from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, processing, or similar risks and retain your personal data only for as long as your personal data is needed for the above-mentioned Purposes.

Data Subjects may withdraw consent for the collection, use and/or disclosure and/or request deletion of personal information in our possession or under our control by sending an email to our Personal Data Protection Officer at [email protected], and we will process such requests in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our obligations under the Privacy Laws and other applicable law. However, your withdrawal of consent may mean that we will not be able to continue providing the Services to you and we may need to terminate your existing relationship and/or the contract you have with us.

The data subjects’ personal information shall be disposed of in a secure manner that would prevent further processing, unauthorized access, or disclosure to any other party.

Our Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18 (“Child” or “Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from Children under 18. If you become aware that a Child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Data from Children without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers. Parents can request access to, change, or delete their child’s personal information by contacting at the email below. To protect children’s privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to help verify a parent’s identity before granting access to any personal information.

As Data Subject, you shall have the following rights:

• to rectify any inaccuracy or error in the personal data collected.
