Business Development Manager
Job Description
Formulates and implements specific sales and business development strategies in conformity with the annual sales program approved by the General Manager
Analyzes sales performance and current market situation for formulation of other action plans in the event of unexpected and anticipated low sales activity periods
Builds relationships with clients to encourage expansion and repeat or replication of transactions and new business opportunities by maintaining a high-level client satisfaction
Ensures that customer accounts are dealt in a timely and efficient manner, addressing any problems that may arise
Develops accounts, builds regular business, and encourages any new business leads
Develops and maintains effective business relationships and/or close working practices within relevant departments of account customers within a designated area especially operations, business development and sales departments to secure optimum sales volume of profitable contracts.
Qualifications
Graduate of any four (4) year business course, preferably Marketing
With minimum of five (5) years of experience in international freight forwarding with management capacity
