Sales Support

Job Description

  • Supports the Business Development Manager in building relationships with clients
  • Ensures that customer accounts are dealt in a timely and efficient manner
  • Prepares proposals and rate quotations that are custom-tailored to the client’s logistics requirements
  • Coordinates with the operations for all shipment inquiries and requests
  • Maintains and updates customer information
  • Suggests and develops solutions that may enhance or improve both the working practices and the quality of the products/services.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Management course or any related field
  • With a minimum of three (3) years in the field of Sales/Customer Service in a freight forwarding, logistics, or similar service industry
  • Comprehensive market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
  • Knowledgeable in using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good in oral and written communication skills
