Job Description
- Supports the Business Development Manager in building relationships with clients
- Ensures that customer accounts are dealt in a timely and efficient manner
- Prepares proposals and rate quotations that are custom-tailored to the client’s logistics requirements
- Coordinates with the operations for all shipment inquiries and requests
- Maintains and updates customer information
- Suggests and develops solutions that may enhance or improve both the working practices and the quality of the products/services.
Qualifications
- Graduate of Management course or any related field
- With a minimum of three (3) years in the field of Sales/Customer Service in a freight forwarding, logistics, or similar service industry
- Comprehensive market knowledge (customers, competitors, suppliers, overall environment)
- Knowledgeable in using MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good in oral and written communication skills
