Job Description

• In charge of checking the booking of Customers Service and in turn books to Carrier for FCL and LCL
• Ensures that all items endorsed to Seafreight are carefully planned in coordination with Customer Service to produce Manifest on what mode of Sea will items be loaded to – FCL, LCL/CONSOL, RORO
• Maintains a tariff rate of Carrier, Subcon, and RORO rates
• Books Tractor Head, Special Equipment trucks requirements to subcon
• Coordinates with Customer Service on Positioning and Loading concerns

Qualifications

• Must possess minimum Bachelor’s/College Degree in any field
• Proven work experience of at least 3 years in Logistics , preferably in Transport and Domestic Sea Operations
• Sufficient knowledge in Full Container, Less Container load and RORO operations
• Experience in handling any Transport Management System (TMS) a plus
• Must have experience in handling/interacting with Truck owners
• Knowledgeable about precautions needed to protect those in transport and warehouse from injuries and oversee strict adherence to all safety measure
• Must have computer skills and be able to use everyday software applications, such as spreadsheets, or database systems commonly used within the industry (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Must be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
• Must possess strong critical thinking, coordination and problem-solving
