Philippines and Cambodia: Strengthening Connections and Economic Collaboration

Cambodia’s WorldBridge Group recently hosted the Women’s Business Council Philippines for an introductory meeting to explore potential business collaborations and investment opportunities between the Cambodia-based group and the Philippines. 

 Mrs. Rosemarie P. Rafael, who serves as both the Chairperson and President of Airspeed and the Chairperson of the Women’s Business Council Philippines, was among the senior executives and representatives from WomenBizPH present at the meeting. She and others seized the opportunity to inquire about various sectors, including logistics, real estate, manufacturing, information technology, outsourcing, tourism, retail, and education. The discussions aimed to foster economic ties, share knowledge, and create a mutually beneficial business environment. 

 Mrs. Rafael expressed her optimism about the potential for collaboration and the importance of strengthening connections between Cambodian and Filipino enterprises. She stated, “This meeting serves as a valuable starting point to explore synergies and leverage collective strengths to drive business growth and empower women entrepreneurs in both markets.” 

Representatives from WorldBridge Group provided an overview of Cambodia’s business landscape, highlighting the country’s strategic advantages and investment potential. The discussion emphasized the need for fostering inclusive economic growth and identifying opportunities for future cooperation. 

Both parties committed to further engagement through future business exchanges and collaborative projects aimed at enhancing bilateral trade and investment.
